Pad printing machine from China

A pad printer lifts ink from an etched plate with a silicone pad onto a curved part, and the machine is the easy part: plate, pad and part fixture decide whether the print lands, and quotes often leave all three out.

What hides inside the price

Sealed ink cup or open inkwell

A sealed cup keeps solvent in, so ink stays steady through a shift. An open inkwell loses solvent to the air and print density drifts.

Tooling in the price

Plates, pads and a fixture for your part are custom. Ask steel or polymer plates, how many, and who makes the fixture from your sample.

Colours and register

Multi-colour machines move the part under each pad by shuttle or rotary table. Ask how register is held.

Pneumatic or servo drive

Servo drives set pad stroke and speed per job, useful for awkward shapes and many part numbers.

Surface treatment

PP and PE parts often need flame, corona or plasma treatment before ink holds. Ask if it is included.
