Glass handling
Horizontal feeding lays ampoules down; rotary machines keep vials upright. Ask the stated breakage rate and how it was measured.

A pharmaceutical labeller handles small glass vials and ampoules and must prove each one carries the right label with a readable batch and expiry, so its checks and its breakage decide the purchase.

Horizontal feeding lays ampoules down; rotary machines keep vials upright. Ask the stated breakage rate and how it was measured.
Hot foil, thermal transfer or inkjet for batch and expiry. Hot foil suits short text; a changing code needs thermal transfer or inkjet.
Reads the printed text or barcode and rejects a wrong or missing print. Often an option.
Labels used counted against units labelled, so a missing or extra label shows at batch end.
Star wheels and guides for each vial or ampoule size.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

| Require this | A pass looks like |
|---|---|
| Splice a blank and a wrong label into the roll. | Both units are rejected and logged; neither reaches the outfeed. |
| Damage the printed batch on purpose. | The camera rejects that unit every time. |
| Count broken glass over the acceptance run. | Breakage is counted and within the limit in the contract. |

A standard labeling machine. Supplements are food law, Directive 2002/46/EC, not EU GMP.
A pharmaceutical cartoning machine: in most cases the identifier goes on the outer carton, not the vial label.
06
We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.
07
Every machine we source in this area is on the Pharma & supplements page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
Straight answers
The mechanics can match. Compare the camera, its validation papers, and breakage figures from a real run.
No machine is. EU GMP (EudraLex Volume 4) binds the licensed manufacturer, who qualifies the labeller. The factory supplies IQ/OQ papers and certificates.
Label position, print quality, camera rejects, reconciliation count, breakage, guard interlocks, size change.
A Declaration of Conformity, your name and address as importer, and separate declarations for a fitted printer and camera.
