A case packer's speed depends on how many products go in each case and how they are grouped, so a cases-per-minute figure means nothing until it is tied to your pack pattern.

Drop packers let a grouped layer fall into the case. Pick-and-place packers lower it with grippers. Side-load and wraparound packers push it in sideways.
Lane dividers and collation build the pattern. Each new pattern can need its own parts.
Grippers or guides are sized to one product. Ask the price of tooling for each extra product.
Some quotes include a case erector and sealer, some load pre-formed cases only.
Upstream buffer, start and stop signals, and who writes them.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

The gap is in pattern tooling and integration support. A European packer resold with tooling for your product can cost less to start.
Count per case, product damage, starve and flood behaviour, tooling change, guard interlocks, integration signals.
The Declaration of Conformity and the technical file. If it arrives as part of a line, ask who declares the whole line.
As importer, your name and address go on the machine or its documents, and you check the declaration before it is placed on the market.
