Automatic case handling line from China

A case handling line is several machines under one price, so the hard part is knowing which machines, conveyors and controls that price includes, and who answers when the erector, the packer and the palletizer stop each other.

What hides inside the price

Scope, machine by machine

Case erector, packer, sealer, labeller, checkweigher, palletizer, wrapper and the conveyors between them. A price range covering one erector up to a full line means nothing until each machine is listed.

Line control

One line controller with shared stops and signals, or separate machines that each run alone. Ask for the signal list between every pair.

Buffers between machines

Short accumulation conveyors let the line keep running through a brief stop at one machine. A line with no buffer stops entirely whenever any machine does.

Case range and changeover

The case sizes each machine takes, and the changeover time and tools on each. The slowest changeover sets the line's.

Cases per minute, and the product arriving from upstream.
A floor plan with the line route and forklift access.
Which machines you already own and must keep.
Tape or glue sealing, labels, and pallet pattern.

Run the connected line with your cases at rated speed for an hour, stopping one machine briefly.	The buffers absorb the stop and the other machines keep running.
Press an emergency stop at each machine.	The stop halts the affected zone as described in the risk assessment, and restart needs a reset.

One EU Declaration of Conformity for the assembled line, naming 2006/42/EC, or Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 from 20 January 2027.
Declarations of incorporation for bought-in machines, and the line risk assessment.
Line layout, signal list and electrical schematics.

You pack one case size at a low rate.

Separate case erector and sealer machines with a person packing, and add automation step by step.

The line must join machines from several suppliers.

Buy the machines separately and pay one integrator for the line control and the declaration.
