Peanut butter making machine from China

Most listings sell a colloid mill, not a line, and two makers rate the same mill size up to twice apart, so the figure rests on a paste and fineness nobody states.

Written and listings checked 30 September 2026. Every figure on this page names its source.

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Rotor and stator

Material, hardness and gap adjustment set fineness and wear. Ask the replacement interval and price of the grinding set.

02

Cooling jacket

Paste heats as it is sheared, and hot paste separates oil in the jar. Ask for a water jacket and outlet temperature.

03

One or two stages

Coarse then fine grinding gives smoother paste at the stated output than one pass through one mill.

04

What else the line needs

Roaster, peeler, cooler, mixer, deaerator and filler are separate machines. A mill price is not a line price.

02

Decode the model code.

One maker says the JMS number is rotor diameter in mm. Capacity is not encoded.

  • JMS-130: 300 to 500 kg/h from one maker, 200 to 300 kg/h from another, both 11 kW.
  • JMS-180: 700 to 800 against 300 to 500 kg/h, both 18.5 kW.

03

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

04

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Require thisA pass looks like
Your roasted nuts through the mill for one hour.Output per hour at the quoted rate at your fineness.
Fineness gauge on samples at start and end.Within your micron limit throughout.
Paste temperature at the outlet.Below the limit at which your paste separates oil.

05

The documents that must arrive with it.

The one people forget. The seal material declaration, since the mechanical seal touches the paste and is often left off food-contact papers.

06

Named, not hedged
01

You need very fine spreads or fillings for chocolate.

A ball mill or refiner, which grinds finer than a colloid mill.

02

Your product is a pourable sauce.

A sauce processing line with cooking and homogenising.

07

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

What CE documentation does a peanut butter making machine need?+

A Declaration of Conformity for the serial number and food-contact declarations for every part the paste touches.

Who is the EU importer of a peanut butter making machine?+

Normally the buyer who orders direct: named on the machine or papers, and responsible for checking the file.
