Vacuum emulsifying mixer from China

An emulsifying mixer is sold by tank size, but a cream is made in the working volume between the lowest level the homogeniser can shear and the highest level the vacuum allows, and quotes rarely say what that range is.

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Homogeniser: bottom, top or external loop

A bottom homogeniser shears at the base and needs a minimum batch to cover it; an external loop copes with a wider fill range. Ask for the rotor and stator gap, the motor rating and the smallest batch it will shear.

02

Wall scrapers and counter rotation

Thick cream sticks to the jacketed wall and heats unevenly. Ask whether the anchor carries scrapers and a counter-rotating paddle is fitted.

03

Oil and water phase pots

Most creams need a heated oil phase and a heated water phase before emulsifying. Ask whether both pots, their pumps and the pipework are in the price.

04

Vacuum and seals

Vacuum pulls air out so the cream is not full of bubbles. Ask for the vacuum rating, the shaft seal type, and how the lid seals after it is lifted and lowered each batch.

05

Lid lift and discharge

A hydraulic lid lift and a tilting tank help empty stiff products. A bottom valve suits pourable lotions. Ask which fits your thickest product.

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

03

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Require thisA pass looks like
Make your smallest and your largest batch of the same cream. Both batches meet your viscosity and appearance limits, and a slide under a microscope matches your reference sample for droplet size.
Seal the empty vessel under vacuum and switch the pump off for a timed period.Vacuum loss stays within the figure written into the offer.
Clean the vessel, homogeniser and phase pots after a cream batch. No residue behind the scrapers or inside the homogeniser head when opened, within the cleaning time in the offer.

04

The documents that must arrive with it.

The one people forget. The mechanical seal specification for the homogeniser shaft. It is the first part to wear, and without its part number the mixer waits for the one supplier who knows it.

When this is the wrong machine.

Buy something else if

Named, not hedged
01

Your products are thin liquid soaps and shampoos with no oil phase.

A detergent mixing tank. Vacuum and a high shear head add cost you do not need.

02

You develop formulas in batches of a few kilograms.

A lab emulsifier until the formula is fixed.

06

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Straight answers

Questions buyers ask about this machine.

Chinese vs European vacuum emulsifying mixer: what should I compare?+

Working volume, homogeniser, scrapers, vacuum holding and pressure vessel papers, tested with your cream.

What goes on a vacuum emulsifying mixer inspection checklist?+

The pressure test record, a vacuum hold test, your smallest and largest batch, and a look under the scrapers after cleaning.

What CE documentation does a vacuum emulsifying mixer need?+

A Declaration of Conformity and technical file, plus PED papers where the jacket or vessel falls under 2014/68/EU. A listing title that claims CE and GMP in one line proves nothing.

Is a vacuum emulsifying mixer GMP compliant?+

No machine is compliant on its own. For cosmetics, ISO 22716 describes good practice in your plant; for medicines, EU GMP applies. You qualify the mixer with documents and tests.
