Detergent mixing tank from China

A detergent tank looks like a simple steel pot, but the wrong agitator whips air in and leaves thick surfactant at the bottom, so the batch foams and varies bottle to bottle.

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Agitator type

Paddle, anchor, propeller or high shear head. A fast propeller in thin liquid draws a vortex and foam. Ask whether speed is adjustable.

02

Heating jacket

Some products need heat to dissolve paste or wax. Ask whether the jacket is electric, steam or hot water, and whether it is insulated.

03

Steel grade and finish

Chlorine and acid cleaners pit some steels. Ask for the grade of every wetted part and the inner surface finish.

04

Outlet and cleaning

A sloped or conical bottom and a full-bore valve drain the tank. Ask for spray balls, a manway, and how the agitator seal is cleaned.

02

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

03

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Mix a full batch of your thickest product.Samples from top and bottom match your viscosity and pH limits.
Watch the surface at top agitator speed. No vortex down to the blades and no more foam than you accept.
Drain and rinse the tank. The tank empties fully through the outlet and no product remains around the agitator seal.

Named, not hedged
01

Your products are creams or lotions with an oil phase.

A vacuum emulsifying mixer with a homogeniser.

02

You want mixing and filling bought as one package.

A shampoo production line quote that lists every machine and the transfer between them.

06

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Cosmetics page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.

Straight answers
