Crimp head and valve
Ask for the crimp head per valve size, how crimp depth and diameter are set, and a gauge to check them.
No DramaBuyer guide · Cosmetics
An aerosol machine fills liquid, crimps a valve, then forces gas into a sealed can, and cheap quotes cut corners on that gas stage, where propellant burns and the crimp must hold pressure for the life of the can.

Ask for the crimp head per valve size, how crimp depth and diameter are set, and a gauge to check them.
Under-cap, through-valve and bag-on-valve filling need different heads. Ask which is quoted, for which gas.
Ask whether the gas pump and electrical parts near it are ATEX equipment under 2014/34/EU. The zone is your assessment.
The Aerosol Dispensers Directive 75/324/EEC expects every filled can to pass a leak test, usually a hot water bath or an approved alternative. Ask whether the bath is in the price.
02
Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

| Fill and crimp a counted run of your cans with your valve and gas. | Every crimp inside the gauge limits in the offer, every fill inside tolerance. |
| Pass the run through the hot water bath. | No bubbles from any can and no swollen or deformed cans. |
| Spray a sample of cans until empty. | Each can sprays to empty without spitting. |

A perfume or lotion filler with a pump crimping or capping station.
A contract filler until permits are in place.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Cosmetics page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
Straight answers
Safety rests on the gas stage and your room. Ask for ATEX papers and test the crimp, whoever built it.
Crimp gauge readings, weighed fills, a water bath run and ATEX papers.
A Declaration of Conformity and technical file, with ATEX papers where the gas is flammable. Directive 75/324/EEC covers the filled can you sell.
The business placing it on the EU market, usually you, named on the machine or its papers.
