Level filling or volume filling
Vacuum or negative pressure heads fill until the liquid reaches the nozzle depth, so every bottle shows the same line. Volumetric pumps give the same dose whatever the glass. Ask which the quote is.

Perfume bottles are thick glass with uneven inside volumes, so a machine that doses the same volume into each leaves the liquid line at different heights across a shelf, and the crimped pump must seal on glass that varies too.

Most spray perfumes close with a pump crimped onto the neck, then a collar pressed over it. Ask for the crimp head per neck size, how crimp height is set, and how it is measured on the line.
Perfume is mostly ethanol. Ask whether motors, the vacuum pump and controls near the filling heads are offered as ATEX equipment under 2014/34/EU, and where vapour from the vacuum pump is vented. The zone question is yours to assess.
Level filling pulls surplus liquid back through the vacuum line. Ask where it goes, whether it returns to the tank, and whether it can carry one fragrance into the next.
Ask for holders per bottle shape and who pays for each new set.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

| Fill a carton of your own bottles on the vacuum level heads. | The liquid line sits at the same height in every bottle, with no drips on the neck. |
| Crimp a counted run of pumps, prime each one and leave the bottles upside down overnight. | Every pump sprays after priming, no bottle leaks at the crimp, and crimp height stays inside the setting written in the offer. |
| Change fragrance while timed, vacuum return line included. | No smell of the previous fragrance in the first bottles, checked blind. |

An aerosol filling machine, which crimps a valve and adds propellant.
A multi-nozzle vial filler with a simple press cap. Crimp and collar stations add cost you will not use.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Cosmetics page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
