Paver block machine from China

Most paver block machines are block presses with a different mould, and the part that decides whether your pavers survive winter salt and traffic, the second feeder for a face mix layer, is often left out of the quote.

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Face mix feeder

A second feed box lays a thin layer of fine, coloured, cement-rich mix on top of the coarse core. It gives colour, a closed surface and wear resistance. Ask whether it is in the price, and how the two layers are timed.

02

Mould for pavers, not blocks

Paver moulds have many small cavities with chamfers and spacer nibs. Ask for the cavity count for your shape and the tamper head wear plates, which carry the surface finish.

03

Compaction under the tamper

Pavers are solid and thin, so compaction must be even across the board. Ask for vibration motor count and whether the tamper also vibrates.

04

Height control

Pavers are laid side by side, so height steps show at once. Ask how the machine holds product height, and the stated tolerance.

05

Cubing and stacking

Pavers ship in cubes for mechanical laying. A cuber and its layer pattern are extra, and your pattern must match the laying machines your customers use.

02

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

03

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Require thisA pass looks like
Produce your main shape with a coloured face mix for one counted hour.Face layer covers every paver with no core showing at edges or chamfers.
Measure the height of pavers from every mould position on five boards.Every height inside the tolerance written in the offer.
Send cured pavers to an independent laboratory for EN 1338 tests.Freeze-thaw with de-icing salt, abrasion and splitting strength meet the classes you will declare.

04

The documents that must arrive with it.

The one people forget. The face mix recipe used in the demonstration. If the supplier ran its own pigment and fines, your first results at home will not match what you approved.

When this is the wrong machine.

Buy something else if

Named, not hedged
01

Most of your orders are hollow walling blocks.

A concrete block making machine, where output is counted in blocks per cycle and no face mix is needed.

02

You want a polished, decorative surface for interior floors.

A terrazzo tile machine, whose tiles are ground and polished after pressing.

06

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Construction page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
