01Which process the quote is for
A vacuum extruder pushes wet clay through a die, then the bricks are dried and fired. An earth block press compacts stabilised soil with no kiln. A concrete brick press vibrates a cement mix onto pallets. Ask which one the offer describes.
02Extruder stages and motor split
Double-stage extruders de-air the clay in one stage and press it in the other, so listings give two motor ratings. Ask for both, and the vacuum the pump holds under load.
03Press force for earth blocks
Manual lever presses and hydraulic presses rated in tonnes share one name. Density follows force divided by block face area, so ask for force and mould size together.
04What the plant needs after forming
For fired bricks the cutter, dryer and kiln are separate purchases. Ask for every item after the extruder, each marked in scope or not.
