Plain polypropylene lets oxygen through over weeks; barrier sheet blocks it. Ask what sheet the forming station was proven on and who supplies it in Europe.
A pod slightly off in height or flange jams or leaks in the brewer. Each format is its own mould set. Ask how many are in the price and how fit was tested.
Inline lines pass formed cups straight to the filler, so one stop halts both halves. Ask what buffer sits between them.
Thermoforming leaves a sheet skeleton; stamping leaves foil scrap. Ask the scrap share, because you pay for that material too.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

| Form a counted run from the sheet or foil you will buy, then brew a sample in your target brewer. | Every brewed pod pierces, extracts and ejects normally, with no jams and no flange leaks. |
| Measure pods from the start and end of the run. | Height, flange diameter and wall thickness stay inside the drawing tolerance throughout. |
| Run forming and filling together for an agreed period, logging every stop. | Stops logged with cause, output per hour recorded, scrap weighed against material fed. |

A coffee capsule filling sealing machine; forming adds tooling and floor space you would not use.
Buy formed pods and add forming once volume and format are settled.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Coffee & tea page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
