Weigher type for whole beans
Beans flow well and suit a multihead or linear weigher. An auger meant for ground coffee cracks beans. Ask which weigher is in the price and whether its accuracy was measured on beans.

Freshly roasted beans keep giving off carbon dioxide, so the hard part is not weighing them but getting a one-way valve on every bag, in the right place, and a seal that holds while the bag is still gassing.

Many quotes show a bagger with no valve station. An inline applicator punches the film and welds the valve before the tube forms, so it must stay in register with the print. Get the station named, with the valve types it accepts.
Pillow, quad seal or flat bottom each need their own former; pre-made zip bags need a different machine type. Quad and flat bottom bags stand on a shelf and cost more in tooling.
Coffee film is thick and often foil, and bean dust lands in the seal. Ask for temperature control per jaw. A weak side seal lets oxygen in long before the valve fails.
A nozzle on the tube is not a result. Ask what residual oxygen was measured on filled bags and the nitrogen use per hour.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

| Run your beans into your printed film at target speed with the valve station on, for a counted run. | Every bag has a valve in the marked area, every valve opens under gentle pressure, no weld wrinkle across a valve. |
| Weigh every bag in the run individually. | All bags at or above declared weight, spread recorded per weight, not averaged. |
| Leave sealed bags of fresh roast overnight, then squeeze-test them. | Bags firm but not burst, valves released gas, no seal opened. |

A semi-automatic weigher, pre-made valve bags and a band sealer. A full bagger would run a few hours a week.
A coffee degassing valve applicator, without the weighing and forming stages.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Coffee & tea page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
Straight answers
The principle is the same. Compare the valve station, seal consistency on thick laminates, weigher accuracy on beans and how fast a spare jaw arrives.
Valve position and function on every bag, individual weights, the overnight seal test, formers against the order, and the serial number matching the declaration.
