Hemp bucking machine from China

Bucking throughput is almost always quoted on wet plants, and the same machine strips about one fifth as much dry material, so a buyer who dries first and sizes on the headline figure buys a harvest bottleneck.

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Wet or dry rating

Ask for throughput on your state of material. Where listings state both, the dry figure is a fifth of the wet one. A number with no state is a wet number.

02

Stripping principle

Rollers pull the stalk through a die hole and knock buds off; brush strippers comb whole plants. Die machines are gentler on flower. Brush strippers suit whole-plant hemp going to extraction.

03

Die hole sizes and feed stations

Count hole sizes and how many operators can feed at once. Output scales with stations, not motor size.

04

Voltage and plug

Many machines sold in North America run on 110 to 120 V. Europe needs a 230 V 50 Hz motor and a CE-marked electrical assembly, not an adapter.

05

Cleaning and resin build-up

Resin coats rollers and dies within a shift. Check that dies lift out without tools and contact parts are stainless.

02

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

03

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Require thisA pass looks like
One hour of your own plants, in your processing state, fed by the operators you will staff.Stripped kilograms within the quoted rate for that state, weighed, not counted by bins.
Sort a sample of the output by hand.Stem fragments and crushed buds below the contract share.
Change the dies after the run.One person does it in the stated time with supplied tools.

04

The documents that must arrive with it.

The one people forget. The risk assessment showing the rollers are guarded. A roller that pulls stems pulls fingers, and an insurer asks for it after the first accident.

05

When this is the wrong machine.

Buy something else if

Named, not hedged
01

You need leaf taken off the buds.

A cannabis trimming machine; a bucker removes buds from stems and leaves the leaf.

02

Your material is too wet to store after bucking and nothing dries it.

Price a hemp biomass dryer first; bucking speed is wasted if wet material waits in bins.

06

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Straight answers

Questions buyers ask about this machine.

Chinese vs European hemp bucking machine: what do I give up?+

A European seller listed buckers at 60 and 300 kg an hour, priced in euro. A Chinese stem separator listing stated 220 V and no capacity. Get a rate on your material state before comparing prices.

What goes on a bucking machine inspection checklist?+

Guarding on every roller nip, an emergency stop at each station, stainless contact parts, die sizes against your stems, a 230 V 50 Hz motor plate, and a timed run on real plants.

What CE documentation should arrive?+

A Declaration of Conformity for that serial number naming the machinery and electrical directives, and a manual in your language. As EU importer you check these and your name goes on the machine or its papers.

Can I import a bucking machine to the EU for hemp?+

The machine is ordinary machinery. Whether you may run this machine, and on what material, depends on the licence your business holds where the machine will be used. EU industrial hemp must come from Common Catalogue varieties, with a 0.3 percent THC cultivation limit under Regulation (EU) 2021/2115.
