Wash vessel or centrifuge, filtration, solvent recovery, dewaxing and a finishing still are separate machines. List which ones each quote includes. A quote without recovery has left out the costliest vessel.
A basket or flat plate centrifuge washes and spins in one vessel. A soak tank with a filter press is slower and leaves the biomass wetter. Ethanol left in spent biomass is a loss you pay on every batch.
Explosion proof in a listing title is a word. Ask for the ATEX (2014/34/EU) marking and certificate of every motor, sensor and control box inside the zone.
Cold ethanol pulls less wax and chlorophyll. A jacket is a feature; the chiller that feeds it, and the temperature it holds under load, is what you buy.
Stainless grade on every solvent contact part, gasket compound, and the filter mesh. Ask how the basket is cleaned between strains.

Vessels are often similar. The difference sits in certified parts inside the explosive zone, the controls and the paperwork. From a Chinese quote, list zone data and ATEX documents as line items or they will not arrive.

No. You need the Declaration of Conformity, the technical file, ATEX and PED documents. As EU importer your name and address go on the machine or its documents, and you check that paperwork before release.
Whether you may run this machine, and on what material, depends on the licence your business holds where the machine will be used. Solvent rooms and pressure vessels need local permits. EU industrial hemp must come from Common Catalogue varieties, with a 0.3 percent THC cultivation limit under Regulation (EU) 2021/2115.
