A vegetable washing line is judged by how clean your produce comes out with your soil on it, and by the water it uses to get there, and neither shows in a demo with clean carrots and fresh tap water.

Settling tanks, screens and filters decide how often the tank is emptied. Ask for water use per tonne of produce and how sludge leaves the line.
Vibrating dewaterers, air knives or spin dryers remove surface water before packing or cutting. Wet leaves spoil in the bag.
Ask which stainless grade touches produce and water, and whether the tanks drain fully. Hygienic design is a question to ask against EN 1672-2.
