Jet and soft flow machines dye fabric in rope form. Package machines dye yarn on cones. Loose fibre and garment machines each have their own vessel.

Polyester is dyed above boiling point, so the vessel runs under pressure. It falls under the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.

Liquor ratio

Water per kilogram of fabric sets water, steam and chemical use. Ask for the ratio measured at your load.

Capacity and minimum load

Ask nominal kilograms, the lowest load that dyes evenly, and the number of tubes.

Controller and dosing

Ask for program storage, automatic chemical dosing, and how a lab recipe transfers to bulk.

Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU conformity for the vessel, with the pressure test certificate.
Piping and electrical diagrams in your language.
