Granulator, stripper, or both
A granulator chops cable into short pieces and separates copper from plastic on an air or vibrating table. A stripper slits single large cables and pulls the insulation off. They answer different cable streams.
No DramaBuyer guide · Recycling
A cable recycling machine earns its money on the copper that ends up in the copper bin, and fine wire, tinned wire and cable mix decide that far more than the motor size in the listing.

A granulator chops cable into short pieces and separates copper from plastic on an air or vibrating table. A stripper slits single large cables and pulls the insulation off. They answer different cable streams.
Bundled, long or thick cable needs a shredder before the granulator. Small units expect hand-fed, cut, clean wire. Ask what length and diameter the feed opening accepts.
Copper recovery depends on the table, its adjustment and the air flow. Ask how the middlings, the mixed fraction, are re-run, and whether a second table or electrostatic step exists.
Ask the knife material and hardness, how many edges each knife has, and the screen hole size, which sets granule length.
Chopping PVC and rubber insulation makes dust. Ask what filter is included and whether it is sized for the air table.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

| Feed a weighed batch of your own cable mix, including fine and tinned wire. | Copper, plastic and middlings each weighed, with recovered copper as a share of copper fed written in the report. |
| Send a copper granule sample and a plastic fraction sample to a lab. | Copper purity inside your buyer's grade and copper left in the plastic inside the contract limit. |
| Time the batch from first feed to last granule out. | Measured kilograms per hour on your mix at or above the figure in the offer. |

A cable stripping machine. It keeps copper in long lengths and skips the separation losses of granulating.
An e-waste separation line. A cable granulator is not built for boards, glass or batteries.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Recycling page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
Straight answers
Separation table quality, knife steel, dust filters and documented recovery. Ask each maker for recovery on the same cable sample and compare the copper weighed, not the brochure percentage.
Weighed batch of your cable, copper and plastic lab samples, timed throughput, knife hardness certificate, dust filter, guarding on the feed opening, emergency stops and serial plate.
An EU Declaration of Conformity naming the machine and serial number, a manual in your language, and a technical file the maker must be able to show.
When you buy direct, you are. Your name goes on the machine or its documents. The permit to treat cable waste is your matter, not the machine's.
