Strip packing machine from China

A strip pack has no formed pocket, so the only barrier is the seal pressed around each tablet between two foils, and that seal depends on a sealing tool cut for your exact tablet.

What hides inside the price

Sealing tool per tablet size

Heated sealing rollers or tools carry a recess for each tablet. A new tablet size or shape means a new tool. Ask how many tools are included and the price of one more.

Foil structure on both sides

Both webs are usually heat-sealable aluminium laminate, sometimes paper-poly for cheaper packs. The foil supplier's seal temperature window must match the machine's heater control.

Strip width and tablets per cut

Foil width, the number of tablet rows and the tablets per strip decide how many tablets leave the machine each cut. This, not the cut rate, is output.

Feeding and missing-tablet detection

Vibratory or channel feeders place tablets on the web. Ask whether a strip with a missing or broken tablet is detected and rejected, and by what sensor.

Perforation, cutting and coding

Cross and length perforations, strip length and batch and expiry embossing are separate stations. Check each is in the quote and on the drawing.

Run your tablets on your foils for a counted run, with some positions deliberately left empty.	Every strip with an empty position is rejected, and good strips rejected stay under the rate agreed in writing.
Leak-test a sample of strips by dye immersion under vacuum, then peel a seal by hand.	No dye reaches any tablet, and the foil tears before the seal separates.
Fit a second sealing tool for another tablet size while you time it.	The change finishes inside the quoted time, and the first strips after it pass the same leak test.

EU Declaration of Conformity to 2006/42/EC, or Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 for delivery from 20 January 2027, plus 2014/35/EU and 2014/30/EU.
IQ and OQ support documents and material certificates for the feeder, guides and sealing tools.
Sealing tool drawings with recess dimensions, so a new tool can be made for a new tablet.

The one people forget. The sealing tool drawings. Your next product will be a different tablet, and without recess drawings only the original factory can cut the tool.
