A softgel encapsulator is only the middle of a softgel line, and the gelatin melting, drying and die rolls that decide whether you ship sealed capsules are often outside the price.

Softgels need a gelatin melting tank, the encapsulator, a tumble dryer and drying space. Ask which the price covers.
Die roll length sets output. Each capsule shape and size needs its own pair of rolls. Count the pairs included.
Plunger pumps cover set fill ranges. Ask which range is fitted and whether your fill weight sits inside it.
Seal quality depends on stable gelatin ribbon and wedge temperature. Ask how both are controlled and recorded.

On one manufacturer table the model number matches the die roll length in inches. Other factories use their own codes, so ask the roll dimensions.
