Pet food packing machine from China

One machine name covers a pouch packer for treats and a sack filler for 15 kg kibble bags, and the pack size you sell most, not the speed on the brochure, decides which one you need.

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Pack size range

Premade pouch machines we read filled from 10 g to 2.5 kg. Open-mouth baggers start at 10 kg. A range across both needs two machines.

02

Weigher for your product

Kibble and treats run on a multihead weigher. Sticky or irregular treats bridge in the buckets and need a different feed. Ask for the head count and bucket volume.

03

Seal through kibble dust

Kibble sheds fat and fines into the seal area. Ask how the machine keeps the seal zone clean and what seal strength it holds on your film.

04

Zipper, degassing valve and handle

Reclosable pet food pouches need zipper opening before filling. Check which features the station layout handles at the quoted speed.

05

Single-phase or three-phase

Small doypack machines we read run on 220 V single phase with compressed air; larger lines need three-phase power and more air.

02

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

03

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Require thisA pass looks like
Your product in your pouches or bags, run for thirty minutes at contract speed.Speed held with no more rejected packs than the rate written in the offer.
Fifty filled packs weighed one by one.No pack below the declared weight, and the spread inside your tolerance.
Twenty sealed packs squeezed under water or in a vacuum leak tester. No leaks, including packs filled while coated kibble dust was present.

04

The documents that must arrive with it.

The one people forget. The weigher calibration procedure. Your packs carry a declared weight, and you must be able to show how the weigher is checked.

Named, not hedged
01

Your pet food is wet and must be retorted after sealing.

A pet food canning line or a retort pouch filler with sealing strength proven for the retort.

02

You only pack a few hundred bags a week.

A manual weigh station with a band sealer, until volume pays for automation.

06

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Pet food page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.

Straight answers

Questions buyers ask about this machine.

Chinese vs European pet food packing machine: where is the difference?+

Weigher accuracy at speed, servo drives and the HMI language. Ask for weigher and servo makes by name and see it run your product.

What goes on a pet food packing machine inspection checklist?+

Change parts for each pouch size, weigher head count, seal jaw temperature control, guarding and interlocks, air and power supply, and a leak test.

What EU compliance applies to a pet food packing machine?+

Machinery and electrical rules for the machine. Feed hygiene under Regulation (EC) 183/2005 applies to your business, and labelling rules apply to the pack, not the machine.

Who is the EU importer?+

Whoever places the packer on the EU market, usually the buyer when buying direct. That name goes on the machine or papers.
