Stretch wrapping machine from China

Pallet wrappers are cheap to buy and costly to run: film use depends on a pre-stretch system that listings describe with one unproven percentage.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price

Pre-stretch: none, mechanical or powered

Mechanical pre-stretch runs gear rollers at one fixed ratio. Powered pre-stretch uses motors, set per load. Film cost follows this.

Turntable diameter and load rating

The table must carry your heaviest pallet and clear its diagonal. Ask the rated load.

Wrap height and top press

Tall or light loads need a high mast and often a top press to hold them while turning.

Semi-automatic or conveyor-fed

Automatic cut and clamp, and signals to your line, change price and the safety system.

Decode the model code.

On many turntable wrappers the number is the turntable diameter in millimetres, as on the T1650 spec sheet checked.

1200 x 1000 mm pallet: square root of (1200 squared + 1000 squared) = 1562 mm diagonal, 88 mm inside a 1650 table.
250 percent pre-stretch: 1 m of film leaves the carriage as 3.5 m.

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

Pallet size, load height and heaviest gross weight.
Stable boxes, or light, tall or loose loads.
Film type and thickness, and yearly film spend.
Pallets per hour, fed by forklift or conveyor.
Floor space, including a safe zone around the turning load.

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Require this	A pass looks like
Wrap your pallet at rated load and weigh the film used.	Film per pallet at or under the figure written in the quotation.
Mark 1 m on the film before the carriage, then measure it on the load.	The stretched length matches the stated pre-stretch ratio.
Trigger every emergency stop and safety sensor while the table turns.	Rotation stops each time, and restart needs a deliberate reset.

EU Declaration of Conformity to 2006/42/EC, or Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 for delivery from 20 January 2027.
Risk assessment covering the turning load.
Wiring diagram and spare parts list.

The one people forget. The risk assessment. The turning load is the main hazard, and insurers ask for it after an accident.
