How the dose is measured
Volumetric cups for free-flowing granules, an auger for powder, a pump for liquids, a counter for tablets. Cups are simplest and most sensitive to density changes between batches. Ask how the dose is adjusted while running.

In a small sachet a few grams either way is a large share of the dose, and most entry-level sachet machines measure by volume in a cup, which follows your product's density rather than its weight.

Volumetric cups for free-flowing granules, an auger for powder, a pump for liquids, a counter for tablets. Cups are simplest and most sensitive to density changes between batches. Ask how the dose is adjusted while running.
Three-side, four-side or back seal each need their own jaws and film path. Ask which formats the frame switches between and what parts that takes.
Multi-lane frames multiply output but every lane must be dosed and checked on its own. Buy lanes only when one lane cannot reach your volume.
Paper, foil and plastic laminates seal at different temperatures and dwell times. Ask for a test on your laminate, not the factory's stock film.
Singles or chains, tear notch or none, and where the date code sits. Small parts, easy to leave out of a quotation.

On many vertical sachet machines sold as DXDK, the number is the largest cup volume in millilitres. The listing checked put the DXDK-40 at 5 to 40 ml and the DXDK-150 at 30 to 150 ml.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

| Run a counted batch of your product and weigh every sachet individually. | The spread between lightest and heaviest sachet stays inside the tolerance written in the contract. |
| Repeat with a batch of different density without resetting the dose. | The fill stays in tolerance, or the operator corrects it by the method the quotation describes. |
| Leak test sealed sachets under water or vacuum, on your laminate. | No leaking seals and no product caught in the seal. |

A VFFS packaging machine with a weigher or auger.
A stick pack machine, whose narrow pack pours cleanly and runs on several lanes.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Packaging page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
Straight answers
One whose dosing principle suits your product, proved by weighing sachets one by one. Cups can do for free-flowing granules; fine powder needs an auger.
Entry-level cup machines differ little. The gap shows in dose control, jaw temperature control and lane-by-lane checking on multi-lane frames, where a used European machine can compete.
Individual sachet weights, the density-change test, leak tests on your laminate, a cup set that covers your dose, then guards, emergency stops and nameplate.
The Declaration of Conformity and the technical file behind it, food-contact declarations, and your name and address as importer on the machine or its papers.
