Power and cooling
Air-cooled units suit lower power and slower lines. Water-cooled units run higher power for faster conveyors and larger caps, and need a chiller. Ask the power at your cap size.

An induction sealer only heats the foil liner inside your cap, so whether the seal holds depends on the liner, the cap torque and the time under the coil, and a demo on the supplier's own caps proves almost nothing about yours.

Flat heads cover standard caps; tunnel heads suit sports caps and deep closures. Ask which head the cap range figure used.
Speed is quoted in metres a minute, not bottles. Bottles a minute depend on your spacing, and the seal needs a minimum time under the coil.
Better units detect a missing foil or a cap without a liner and push the bottle off. Many do not. Ask for it in writing.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

| Seal a counted run of your capped bottles at your line speed. | Every foil fully bonded round the rim on opening, no burnt or wrinkled foil. |
| Run bottles with the liner removed through the machine. | Each one is detected and rejected, if a reject is quoted. |

A seamer or a different closure; induction heats the whole metal part.
A handheld induction sealer, listed for far less.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Packaging page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.

Test both on your liner at your speed. The liner and dwell decide the seal, then compare EMC paperwork and reject function.

Opened bottles from a counted run, reject test with missing liners, and the power setting recorded.
