Ask the arm maker, reach and payload. Reach must cover your largest part on the positioner.

Welding source and process

MIG, TIG or laser, and the source maker. Ask whether the source talks to the robot digitally.

Positioner and fixtures

Fixtures decide weld quality and changeover time. Ask who designs them and how parts are clamped.

Guarding and fume extraction

Fences, light curtains and screens are part of the cell. Fume extraction is your workplace duty; ask if it is in the price.

EU Declaration of Conformity for the complete cell, naming 2006/42/EC or Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 from 20 January 2027, with EN ISO 10218-2 for robot systems among the standards applied.
The robot arm Declaration of Incorporation and the welding source declaration to EN IEC 60974-1, or laser class to EN 60825-1 for laser cells.
Risk assessment for the cell layout, and the robot program backup.
