Metal stamping press from China

A mechanical stamping press gives rated tonnage only near the bottom of the stroke, so a quote that omits where, and the clutch, brake and frame behind it, prices a number, not a press.

What hides inside the price

Rated tonnage point

In codes such as JH21-110 the figure is nominal force in tonnes, available only near bottom dead centre. Ask for the tonnage curve.

C-frame or H-frame

A C-frame opens slightly under load and tilts the die. An H-frame stays square and suits progressive dies.

Clutch, brake and safety valve

Pneumatic friction clutch and brake, a double safety valve and a brake monitor, or less. The stop protects the operator.

Flywheel or servo

A servo drive can slow the slide in the drawing zone. A flywheel press is simpler to repair.

Overload protection and slide adjustment

Hydraulic overload protection saves frame and die on a double hit. Ask if shut height adjustment is motorised.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

Part drawing, material, thickness, and the force your die needs and where in the stroke.
Die size, shut height and weight.
Strokes per minute, and hand or coil feed.
Coil feed interface if automatic.
Guarding expected: light curtain, brake monitor, and fencing.

Run a test die continuously at your stroke rate for an hour after warm-up.	Shut height and parts repeat inside your tolerance; clutch and brake stay cool.
Trigger overload protection on a test block.	Slide stops and resets without damage to frame or die.

EU Declaration of Conformity citing 2006/42/EC, or Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 from 20 January 2027, with EN ISO 16092-2 for mechanical presses.
Manual in your language with tonnage curve and stopping time.
Pneumatic, electrical and lubrication diagrams.
