Pick and place robot from China

Pick and place robot is a job, not a machine, so quotes under that name compare a delta, a SCARA, a gantry and a six-axis cobot, and the hard part is choosing the type that fits your part, your rate and how the parts arrive before comparing any price.

Written and listings checked 1 October 2026. Every figure on this page names its source.

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Robot type

Delta robots pick light items fast from a moving belt. SCARA arms place accurately on a flat table. Six-axis cobots are slower but flexible and can work near people. Cartesian units suit long, simple moves.

02

Cycle time on a stated path

SCARA and delta cycle times are usually quoted on a short standard up, across and down path with no load. Ask for the time on your path with your gripper and part.

03

How parts arrive

A robot needs the part in a known place: a fixture, a feeder, or a camera that finds it. Vision and feeders are often priced apart.

04

Gripper and payload

Vacuum, fingers or magnets, with the payload counted including the gripper. A 3 kg robot with a 1 kg gripper lifts 2 kg of product.

02

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

03

When this is the wrong machine.

Buy something else if

Named, not hedged
01

The part is heavy or the move is long, several metres.

A gantry robot, which carries more over long strokes.

02

You orient small identical parts for one assembly station at a steady rate.

A vibratory bowl feeder with a simple placer, often enough with no robot at all.

04

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

05

Related machines.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Material handling page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
