Gummy depositor from China

A standalone gummy depositor only doses syrup you have already cooked, so its accuracy depends on keeping that syrup at the right temperature in the hopper, and most small depositors leave cooking, cooling and demoulding to you.

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Manual, semi-automatic or servo

Manual depositors are hand-cranked per stroke. Semi-automatic ones deposit on a timer while you move moulds. Servo machines set dose per nozzle on the screen and store recipes.

02

Nozzles and dose range

Nozzle count times strokes per minute gives pieces per minute. Every depositor has a minimum and maximum dose per nozzle. Ask both for your piece weight.

03

Hopper heating and volume

Gelatin and pectin must stay warm but not set. A heated, jacketed hopper holds temperature; an unheated one gels at the edges. Ask the heating range and whether it stirs.

04

Piston or pump dosing

Piston dosing is common and repeatable. Ask whether nozzles have suck-back to stop tails.

05

Moulds and what is not included

Moulds are often sold separately. Cooker, cooling and demoulding are extra machines. Count what arrives in the crate.

02

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

04

The documents that must arrive with it.

The one people forget. The declaration for the nozzle material and seals. Some depositors list brass or copper nozzles, and an auditor will ask what touches the syrup.

You need hundreds of kilograms an hour.

A full gummy making line with continuous cooker, depositor and cooling tunnel.

02

You do not yet have a stable recipe that deposits and sets.

Recipe work with a confectionery technologist first. A depositor will not fix a syrup that gels early.

06

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Straight answers

Questions buyers ask about this machine.

Chinese vs European gummy depositor: what differs?+

Dose precision per nozzle, hopper temperature control and cleaning design. Small Chinese depositors are common in trial kitchens; weigh every nozzle before you trust one.

What should a gummy depositor inspection checklist include?+

Model and serial against the declaration, nozzle count and dose range against the offer, hopper heating working, and your recipe weighed per nozzle.

What CE documentation comes with a gummy depositor?+

A Declaration of Conformity under the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC until 19 January 2027, then the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230, plus 2014/35/EU and 2014/30/EU. A CE mark alone proves nothing.

Who is the EU importer of a gummy depositor?+

The company placing it on the EU market, named on the machine or documents, which checks the conformity file. Buying direct, that is you.
