Beverage bottling line from China

A bottling line quote is a list of machines, and the total moves with the list: a rinse, fill and cap block alone, or also water treatment, bottle blowing, labelling and packing. Two totals usually price two different lines.

Scope

Where the line starts and ends. Ask for a layout drawing with every machine priced on its own row.

Filling principle

Gravity for still water, hot fill for juice, isobaric for carbonated drinks. Ask which valve is fitted and what it was built for.

Speed at which bottle

Output is quoted at one bottle size, usually a small one. Ask for bottles per hour at your largest and smallest format.

Cleaning

Whether cleaning in place is a station with its own tanks or a hose connection.

Change parts

Neck guides, star wheels and capping chucks per bottle. Ask how many formats are in the price.

Every bottle and cap you will run, with drawings or samples.
Bottles per hour on your largest and smallest bottle.
Whether you blow bottles, treat water and pack in-house.
Hall size and ceiling height, voltage and frequency.

EU Declaration of Conformity for each machine, and one for the line as an assembly.
Food contact declarations under Regulation (EC) 1935/2004.
Layout drawing and electrical diagrams your electrician can read.

The one people forget. Who signs the joined line as one assembly. If nobody does, the duty falls on you.

Each machine needs a Declaration of Conformity under 2006/42/EC, or Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 from 20 January 2027. A joined line needs one as an assembly. Ask about hygienic design to EN 1672-2.

The EU business placing the line on the market. It adds its name and checks the conformity file.
