A rising nozzle or a turning jar leaves a smooth top; a fixed nozzle leaves a peak. Ask to see your cream in your jar.
Balms and petroleum jelly are poured hot and set in the jar. Ask for a heated hopper and nozzle and a cooling stage, or the surface sinks as it sets.
Many jars take an inner disc or liner, then a wide cap that needs controlled torque. Ask which placing and capping stations are included.
Ask for pucks or plates per jar size, and the cost of each new set.

| Fill a counted run of your jars with your cream. | Fill weights inside tolerance and a flat, clean surface in every jar opened. |
| Hot fill a balm and pass it through the cooling stage. | No sunken centre and no cracks once the jars have set. |
| Place liners and caps on a counted run. | Every liner seated flat and cap torque inside the range in the offer. |
