A nail making machine only makes the nail sizes in its own class, so the hardest part of buying one is matching machine sizes to your product mix before you compare speed or price.

Each class covers one band of lengths and wire sizes, so a nail range often needs several machines.
Speed falls as the nail gets longer. Ask the speed at your exact nail.
These wear parts decide head, point and running cost. Ask hardness and spare sets included.
Most listings sell the header only; wire drawing and polishing are extra.

In Z94 codes the number is a size class: a higher class takes thicker wire, makes longer nails and runs slower.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

Z94 machines suit plain wire nails. A used European high speed machine can be better for large volumes of one size.
A timed run at your size, nail dimensions, die hardness and the noise figure.
A Declaration of Conformity with the serial number, and the noise figure in the instructions.
Usually your company, when you buy direct. Your name goes on the machine or its papers, and you check the conformity file.
