Ask whether one servo drives all nozzles or each has its own, and how a drifting nozzle is found and corrected.

Where the active is added

Adding it in the heated hopper just before depositing limits heat time. Ask the hopper temperature range and whether it has a mixer.

Mould material and count

Silicone or coated aluminium, pneumatic or pin ejection. Cooling time decides how many sets you need.

Cooling and curing

Benchtop depositors have no cooling tunnel. Moulds go to a cold room, which sets real output more than stroke rate.

Target piece weight and your tolerance per piece.

Judge both on per-nozzle spread with your recipe and on the food-contact file. A used European depositor with its records can be the better buy.

What does EU compliance involve?+

A Declaration of Conformity under 2006/42/EC, or Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 from 20 January 2027, and 1935/2004 food-contact declarations. Food, medicines or product rules may apply to the gummy, by product and country.

What goes on an inspection checklist?+

The three demonstrations above, mould count against cooling time, and certificates for wetted parts.

Who is the EU importer?+
