Plastic film washing line from China

Washing film is the easy half; getting the water back out of a light, soft material that holds it in every fold is where film lines succeed or stall.

01

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Drying: squeezer or centrifuge and hot air

A screw squeezer presses water out and compacts the film, which then feeds a pelletiser well. A centrifugal dryer with a hot air pipe leaves fluffy film at higher moisture. Ask which one, and the moisture it is offered at.

02

Pre-wash for soil and sand

Agricultural film arrives with soil, sand and stones. A trommel or pre-washer before the shredder protects every knife after it. Supermarket stretch film needs this far less.

03

Shredder and wet granulator for soft material

Film wraps around shafts. Ask how the size reduction handles long film, how often knives need changing on your material, and who supplies the knife steel.

04

Friction washers and float tanks

PE and PP film floats. Count the friction washers and ask how sinking dirt is removed from the tank bottom without stopping the line.

05

Water loop

Film lines use a lot of water. Ask what filters it, how sludge leaves the line, and what fresh water the offer assumes per tonne.

02

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

03

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Require thisA pass looks like
Run your own bales, including the worst ones, for at least an hour.Throughput weighed on dry film over the timed run and matching the offer.
Take samples after the dryer or squeezer and dry them in an oven to constant weight.Moisture at or below the figure written into the contract.
Inspect shredder and granulator knives before and after the run.No film wound around shafts and wear recorded, so you can price knives per tonne.

04

The documents that must arrive with it.

The one people forget. A spare parts list with knife and screen drawings, so you can have knives made locally instead of waiting for sea freight.

When this is the wrong machine.

Buy something else if

Named, not hedged
01

Your input is mainly bottles and rigid containers.

A PET bottle washing line, with hot wash and float-sink built for rigid flakes.

02

Your film is clean production scrap from your own plant.

Skip washing. A film recycling line with a cutter-compactor can take clean scrap straight to pellets.

06

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

07

Related machines.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Recycling page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.

Straight answers

Questions buyers ask about this machine.

Chinese vs European plastic film washing line: what do you give up?+

Usually drying performance, water treatment and parts support. Test moisture after the squeezer on your film; it decides whether the extruder after it runs well.

What is on a plastic film washing line inspection checklist?+

Timed run on your worst bales, oven-dry moisture samples, knife wear, sand removal, water loop, guarding on shredders and squeezer, and serial numbers against the declaration.

Does a film washing line need one CE declaration or many?+

The line as an assembly needs one EU Declaration of Conformity and a technical file. Single CE marks on each machine do not cover the whole.

Who is the EU importer when I buy direct?+

Your company. Your name goes on the machine or documents, you check the conformity file, and the waste permit for the site remains yours.
