CO2 laser cutting machine from China

A CO2 laser cutter is sold by tube wattage, yet the glass tube is a wear part that loses power with use, and offers rarely say who made it or what it measured on delivery.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price

Tube type, maker and measured power

Glass DC and sealed RF metal tubes are both sold as CO2. Ask the tube maker, rated or peak watts, and a power meter reading before packing.

Bed size against your sheets

Measure the acrylic, MDF or plywood sheets you buy. A sheet that does not fit must be cut down, or you need pass-through doors.

Motion and chiller

Stepper or servo, belt or rack, and a refrigerated chiller sized to the tube. A pump in a bucket is not a chiller.

Exhaust and fire

Acrylic and MDF give off fumes and can flame. Compare fan, ducting, air assist and a lid interlock that stops the beam.

Decode the model code.

Bed numbers such as 1390 and 6040 give the working area in centimetres, nothing about tube power.

1390 = 1,300 x 900 mm = 1.17 square metres; 6040 = 600 x 400 mm = 0.24 square metres, so about 4.9 times smaller.

Cut your thickest acrylic to your drawing, on video.	Polished edge, through in one pass, dimensions inside your written tolerance.
Photograph the tube label and read a power meter at the output.	Maker, serial and reading match the invoice and FAT report.
Cut continuously for one hour with the supplied chiller.	Water temperature stays inside the tube maker's range, logged.

EU Declaration of Conformity with serial number: 2006/42/EC until 19 January 2027, then Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
Laser class label per EN 60825-1, with EN ISO 11553 cited.
Manual for tube replacement and mirror alignment.

The one people forget. The tube warranty in writing, apart from the frame's. Photograph the tube at unpacking: a cracked tube is a transport claim.
