Solder paste stencil printer from China

Most solder joint defects begin at the paste print, and the listing word automatic covers everything from a hand-aligned table to a camera-aligned printer with stencil cleaning, so price comparisons start broken.

Written and listings checked 30 September 2026. Every figure on this page names its source.

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Alignment: eyes or cameras

A semi-automatic printer relies on the operator to line up board and stencil. A fully automatic one reads fiducial marks with a camera and corrects before every print. Ask which you are being quoted.

02

Stencil frame and board size

The printer takes certain frame sizes. If your stencil supplier uses another, every stencil costs more or needs an adapter. Get the frame range and the largest board in writing.

03

Under-stencil cleaning

Dry, wet and vacuum wiping keep fine apertures open. Ask which modes are fitted, what consumable roll it uses, and whether you can buy that roll in Europe.

04

Squeegee and board support

Motorised pressure control and proper board support pins decide whether the deposit is even across the board. Loose support on a thin board gives uneven paste.

05

Paste inspection

Some printers add a 2D check of the deposit after printing. That is not a full solder paste inspection machine. Ask what it measures and what it only photographs.

02

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

03

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Require thisA pass looks like
Print a counted batch of your boards with your stencil and your paste, then inspect each under magnification. No bridged or missing deposits on fine-pitch pads, and the defect count written into the test record.
Remove and refit the board several times and print again without re-teaching.Deposits stay on the pads each time, showing the camera alignment repeats.
Run the wipe cycle after a set number of prints.Apertures clear, no paste smeared onto the next board, and the consumable part number recorded.

04

The documents that must arrive with it.

The one people forget. The stencil frame specification. Without a drawing of the frame the printer accepts, your first European stencil order is a guess, and a wrong frame stops the line on day one.

Named, not hedged
01

You build low volumes of simple boards with coarse pitch parts.

A manual or semi-automatic printer, and spend the difference on a good stencil.

02

Your problem is finding bad prints, not making them.

A separate solder paste inspection machine or an AOI machine after reflow.

06

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Electronics & assembly page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.

Straight answers

Questions buyers ask about this machine.

Chinese vs European solder paste printer: where is the gap?+

Mechanics and cameras have closed much of it. The difference is in print repeatability over long runs, software for stencil cleaning and local supply of wiper rolls and blades.

What goes on a stencil printer inspection checklist?+

The three tests above, a frame size check with your own stencil, and a look at the board support pins supplied.

What CE documents should a solder paste printer arrive with?+

The Declaration of Conformity, the technical file behind it and a manual in your language. Ask for the declaration before paying the deposit.

Who is the importer when I buy a printer direct from China?+

You are, if your business brings it in. Your name and address go on the machine or its documents, and you keep the declaration for the authorities.
