Flower vending machine from China

The hard part is keeping a living product saleable behind glass: cut flowers want cool, humid air and no drop at all, while most vending hardware is built to keep things cold, dry and falling.

01

What you are actually comparing.

Two quotes, one machine name

What hides inside the price
01

Delivery: doors, carousel or lift

Bouquets are sold through a grid of glass-fronted doors, a rotating carousel, or a lift that brings the bunch to a hatch. Doors show each bunch but limit height per slot; a carousel packs more but hides stock. Ask which design the photo shows.

02

Humidity and airflow

A plain refrigerated cabinet dries petals. Ask whether humidity is controlled or only temperature, and where the fan blows. Air aimed straight at the flowers shortens their life.

03

Glass and condensation

Cool, humid air behind glass fogs the front. Ask for heated or double glazing and anti-condensation film, or buyers will not see what they pay for.

04

Slot height and water

Ask the clear height and depth of each slot and whether slots hold a water tube or vase. Long stems and wrapped bouquets need tall slots, which cuts the number per cabinet.

05

Refrigerant and telemetry

Ask the refrigerant against F-gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573, and whether the platform shows which slots are empty and how long each bunch has been in.

02

Before you ask for a price.

Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

03

Turn the claim into a demonstration.

Require thisA pass looks like
Load your own bouquets into every slot size and sell each one through the payment flow. Each door or hatch opens only for the paid slot and the bouquet comes out without broken stems.
Log temperature and humidity inside for two days with the door opened on a schedule. Both stay inside the range your grower gave, and the front glass stays clear.
Cut the mains with a door mid-open, then restore it.No door unlocks on power loss, and the machine resumes with slot states intact.

04

The documents that must arrive with it.

The one people forget. Written confirmation of whether the cabinet falls under the energy labelling rules for refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function, Regulation (EU) 2019/2018. Ask before shipping, not after.

01

You sell potted plants that live for weeks and need light more than cold.

Buy a smart locker vending system with ambient compartments and lighting.

02

The site is staffed all day.

Buy a florist's display cooler. Payment and door hardware add cost that a staffed counter does not need.

06

Where the numbers come from.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Straight answers

Questions buyers ask about this machine.

Chinese vs European flower vending machine: which should I buy?+

Compare a purpose-made door grid or carousel with an adapted locker or cooler, from either origin. The choice turns on humidity control, glass and slot size, not origin.

What goes on a flower vending machine inspection checklist?+

Slot heights against your bouquets, humidity and temperature log, glass clarity, door lock behaviour on power loss, refrigerant nameplate, reader model and importer details on the plate.

What CE documentation does a flower vending machine need?+

A Declaration of Conformity for machinery, low voltage and EMC or radio, with an EN 60335-2-75 report and the technical file behind them. A CE logo in a brochure proves nothing.

Who is the EU importer of a flower vending machine?+

The EU business that first places it on the market, usually you. You check the papers, keep them available, and put your name and address on the machine or its documents.
