Payout type and board settings
Ask for every board setting in writing: what the machine pays out, and whether payout can be adjusted. Whether you may run it, and with what payout, depends on the licence rules where it stands.

The hard part is what the machine pays out: coins, tokens, tickets or prizes each fall under different national rules, and a home-market board may be set for a payout your country does not allow.

Ask for every board setting in writing: what the machine pays out, and whether payout can be adjusted. Whether you may run it, and with what payout, depends on the licence rules where it stands.
Pushers built for tokens use a token size that may not match euro coins. Ask which coin or token the playfield, hopper and acceptor are built for.
Ask the number of player stations, the footprint, and whether stations share one playfield or run separately.
Ask how jams in the hopper are cleared, whether a tilt sensor stops play when the cabinet is shaken, and whether in and out meters survive a reset.
02
Send these with the enquiry. Without them, any number a factory gives you is a guess dressed as a quotation.

| Photograph every board menu page and set the payout mode you need. | The mode holds after a power cycle and the menu shows no hidden alternative settings. |
| Play each station with your coins or tokens for a sustained run. | No hopper jam, and meters match the coins counted in and out. |
| Shake and tilt the cabinet during play. | The tilt sensor stops play and logs the event. |

Buy a basketball arcade machine or other skill game that pays tickets or nothing.
Buy a capsule toy vending machine, which sells an item rather than a chance.

We name the kind of source, how many and when, and never the factory. Listed prices are asking prices, not landed cost. Where we do not hold a fact we say so: that is a GAP, not an estimate.

Every machine we source in this area is on the Vending & arcade page. How a project runs, stage by stage, is on how it works, and what it costs is on pricing.
